The Schmidt Family - Thailand
MVBC is humbled and inspired by the commitment undertaken by Allan and Sam Schmidt. Allan and Sam are the directors of the Baan Jai Dee orphanage in Lamphun, Thailand which has been established to address the needs of orphaned, abandoned and relinquished children in Thailand. The aim of the orphanage is to provide a loving home for babies and children who are orphaned, abandoned or relinquished by providing:
- A caring, nurturing environment
- A primary and secondary education
- Christian teaching and moral guidance
- Safe, clean housing
- Emotional stability
- Quality nutrition
- Health care
God brought Allan and Sam to Thailand in 2006 to bring hope and encouragement to children. Allan and Sam have made a difference in the lives of many children……. and, sadly, the supply of needy children is greater than the orphanage can cope with at this time.
