Worship Services

Our Sunday service begins at 11:00am.  At MeadowView, we come together to Worship God, to learn from His Word and to encourage each other.

 

Our preaching is expository,  that is - the preacher opens up a passage of scripture and explains how it applies to us and our lives. We work through books of the Bible consecutively with the occasional topical sermons or series.

 

In our times of praise, we worship our God’s Greatness, our God’s Goodness and  our God’s Grace.

 

There is plenty of variety in music.  We sing traditional hymns, modern songs and children's songs each Sunday.   Each song glorifying our God.

 

The morning service normally includes a children’s talk and /or something for the kids. Everyone stays together for the first part, but part way through the service, the children go to Kids Church.  Please note that - for babies and very small children, a crèche can be provided throughout the service.

 

We have Communion on the 1^st Sunday of each Month

 

 

Midweek Bible Studies & Prayer Meeting

For those wishing to pray and study Gods word together more regularly, a group meets every Thursday at 7:00pm .

 

The meeting offers an exciting and challenging window on to what God is doing in the church and gives us the opportunity to pray that God will work in MeadowView to bring conversions and growth in every part of the church.

 

 

Sunday Morning Prayer Meeting

 

A small group meets faithfully every Sunday morning at 10:30am to read Gods word and pray specifically for the services due to take place on that day.

 

At  MeadowView Baptist church, we believe in the tremendous power of prayer. The spiritual needs of your life are important to us and we would like to join with you in prayer for them.

 

 

KIDS  Church

Kids church classes are provided at 11:00am from prep to year 7. This is a time for the children to learn all about God and His stories in the Bible.

The lessons are taught on their level in age appropriate .

MVB  Youth

The youth group is designed to help our youth learn how to live life from a Biblical perspective, as well as fun filled activities are provided. The youth are also given opportunities to serve within the church and the community.

The main Bible study time is Thursday at 7:00pm with various activities and camps planned throughout the year.
